At FBCG, We believe that whatever we do, we should do it unto the Lord.

God created us to worship Him, and so we live our lives with that in mind. Whether we are enjoying fellowship together, or doing some kind of service project, whether we are singing to the Lord on a Sunday or engaging in Bible study in the middle of the week, whether we are in the building, on the playground or in the workplace, we do all that we do to the glory of God, remembering that He is our God, and we are His people.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Our Mission

FBCG is a Bible-teaching, Jesus-preaching, people-reaching church that exists to worship and glorify God by making true disciples of Jesus Christ.

Bible-teaching: We are convinced that the Bible is God's inerrant Word to man and that studying it is the best way for a person to really know God. We believe that, "All Scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Jesus-preaching: We are convinced that Jesus is the giver of abundant life here on earth (John 10:10) and that He is the only way to God the Father (John 14:6). Jesus is God in the flesh, who obediently lived a sinless life, died a selfless death and was raised from the dead so that all who would believe in Him would have eternal life. Because of that, we make the preaching of salvation and real life in Christ alone the central message in all that we do.
People-reaching: We are convinced that Jesus's command to His followers 2000 years ago applies to us today- we have been commissioned to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people all over the world, changing them into disciples who live for the kingdom of God (Matthew 28:18-20). For us this starts in Grottoes and in the Shenandoah Valley, but does not stop there- we want to make disciples of Jesus Christ from people living all over the world.
